J. Warren Johnson, 89, died December 23. He earned degrees from Bethel College & Seminary and the University of Minnesota. He married Ruth K. Olson in November 1943, and they pastored several Minnesota churches, including the BGC congregation in Mora. They served as BGC missionaries in Assam, India, 1967-1976, and in the Philippines 1978-1981. Ruth died in 1988, and he married Ruth E. Anderson in December 1990. He is survived by his wife, one son, two daughters, nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three step-children, six step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
